Places that we've barely touched, tracks

where we have walked & thought,

animals that go roaming on, objects that

have come to rest, shelters we have

dreamt within, the seam whereon the

land begins to end, the shore the ocean

draws upon, its neverending breath &

surge. The aesthetics of a ragged grace,

the order of a weathered poise.

This book is a journey in photographs &

poems from the heart of the forest to the

ocean shore. It evokes not only the

textures of the natural world but our

traces as human creatures within it.
